O5 is a passionately owned tea company, who’s beautifully restrained branding by Talia Cohen inspired the minimalist design. hunterOFFICE’s design strategy reinforced the owner’s calm ethos and the purity of the products. Black stained cedar slats wrap the interior volume and act as an armature for the steel shelving and frame the 28′-0″ charred fir island, crafted by Christian Woo. The space encourages interaction and participation from both sides of the island and is frequently utilized for excessive dinners, chef’s private tastings, and infamous mezcal sampler nights.
